Institution history

If we want to talk about Al Ain Municipality history we will say that Al Ain Municipality constitutes one of several departments within the Municipal Affairs Authority. It is a government institution basically directed to serve Al Ain Area, which covers Al Ain City and the neighboring outskirts.

So,Al Ain City Municipality was established in 1967 and restructured according to an Emiri Decree issued in 1974 to regulate the city's affairs. The Municipality provides customer services and support services for the completion and development of municipal services like :(Roads, Public health, Parks and public facilities, Land and Permit.....etc)in Al Ain City and its districts.

Furthermore, ''Al Ain City Municipality stands as a leading institution of development in the area through the role it plays and the programmes and services it provides for improving the quality of life to the highest possible standards.'' 1

Vision :

If we take about the Municipality according to the vision it will be a one of a kind Municipality and sustainable development for the Al-Ain City .



Mission:

For the mission they offer special municipal services through competent human capital and state of art systems for Al Ain City and its neighborhood, while maintaining its unique characteristics and authenticity.
